Steps to Create a Solution in Canvas Power Apps by PowerApps Mentor
Prerequisites:
- You must be working in a Dataverse environment.
- You should have Solution Maker or higher privileges.
- A Canvas App should exist or be created as part of this process.
Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Solution:
Step 1: Open Power Apps Studio
- Go to Power Apps.
- Sign in with your credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to Solutions
- On the left navigation pane, select Solutions.
- If you’re using a Dataverse environment for the first time, ensure that you’ve selected the right environment.

Step 3: Create a New Solution
- In the top ribbon, click on New Solution.
- Enter the details for your solution:
- Display Name: The name of your solution (e.g., “Project Management Solution”).
- Publisher: Choose an existing publisher or create a new one. Publishers define the ownership of the solution.
- Version: Set the initial version number (e.g., 1.0.0.0).
- Description: Optionally, provide a description of the solution.

Step 4: Fill all the Details
- After filling in all required fields
- Click on Create to finalize your new solution.
